Job Description

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for selling complete, full immersion, educational packages to a wide customer base through face to face and virtual meetings and presentations. The successful candidates are responsible for creating effective and innovative sales solutions that address the issues and challenges facing institutions, instructors, and students today to meet necessary educational outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales development in a region in his or her country of residence. The successful candidate is required to maintain relationships with all shareholders, both institutions and students alike.

Regional Sales Representative Duties

• Acquire and maintain an understanding of all Gateway Chinese Programs
• Identify new sales opportunities such as language institutions or universities
• Arrange meetings and presentations to prospective students
• Inform prospects about education options based on their personal goals
• Enrol students into programs
• Maintain consistent contact with students throughout the enrolment process
• Conduct regular sales presentations to maintain presence
• Generate leads for admissions department
• Meet required quotas or deadlines

Required Skills

• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and also be able to do so under time constraints
• General knowledge of the Mandarin education industry preferable
• Must possess strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven
• Meticulous organization and time management skills
• Maintains professional appearance
• Has a working knowledge of the language spoken locally

Requirements

• 1-2 years prior experience preferred but not necessary if candidate has strong desire to learn
• Minimum: Associates Degree
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing or Business

Relationships & Compensation

Directly responsible to Operations Director

Compensation is commission-based with bonuses and contests to reward outstanding sales performance.
